Open Committee Chair Positions
Free Money
- Organizes and manages Harris Teeter, Publix, and Box Tops
- Attends Meet the Teacher to sign up parents for free money programs
Outdoor Beautification
- Willingness to beautify the exterior/outdoor spaces of GHES
- Coordinate with administration
- Organizes and recruits donations for the silent auction (November)
- Helps manage auction website
- Distribute items and collect money from the auction
- Plan a spirit night once per month
- Contact and communicate with local businesses to secure spirit events
- Have the spirit night dates 6 months in advance
- Be in communication to collect money
Spirit Wear
- In charge of Spirit Wear table at all PTO events
- Coordinate with screen printer for the product designs and placing the orders
- Manage Spirit Wear website
- Fulfills spirit wear orders
- In charge of class shirts
- Collaborate with admin about house shirts
- Plan and coordinate spring carnival
- Communicate with sponsors
Stinger Dads
- Create sign up for volunteers
- Plan an event for GHES dads, e.g. golfing, brewery hang out, kickball, softball
- Organize a dance at GHES for students and adults
- Create and coordinate with sub-committees
- Communicate with executive board members to coordinate ticket sales, refreshments, funding, etc.
